What your agent can spend

welcome credit ($2 personal, $10 Instinct) + prepaid credit + credit line. Your agent draws from all three the same way, and you see one balance.

$2 / $10

Welcome credit

Every account starts with a welcome credit, $2 for personal accounts and $10 for Instinct accounts (including verified @mail.instinct.com email signups; subject to signup checks). No card needed to start.

Packs

Prepaid credit

Buy $14, $40 or $60 up front. Packs never expire.

GitHub

Credit line

Connect GitHub and Vaaya gives you a credit line to spend from, based on your public track record.

Starter credit is a different thing. An agent that registers an account on its own gets $1, spendable at once, and it expires in 24 hours. It lets an agent try Vaaya before a person claims and funds the account. Once a person or company claims the account, the welcome credit applies.

Billing and credit details

How a call is charged

The same rules apply to every service in the catalog.

Upfront

Price shown before every call

Your agent sees the exact price and a spend cap before each call, so nothing runs by surprise.

$0

Failed calls are free

A call that fails is not billed. You pay for results.

Metered

Usage priced as it runs

Models are metered per token and sandboxes per second, for exactly as long as they run.

One bill

Every call in one history

Each call lands in the same ledger with its price and its result. No per-vendor invoices.

How the credit line is set

What Vaaya reads from GitHub, how the number is set, how it moves, and what the card is for.

Read

What Vaaya looks at

Public data only, with the read:user and user:email scopes: contributions, merged pull requests, the substance of your public commits and issues, account age, and how consistently you have been active.

Not read

What Vaaya never sees

No repository scope is requested. Vaaya cannot see private repositories and never gets write access to anything.

Score

How the limit is set

Those signals produce a score from 300 to 850. Below 500 the starting limit is $0. Around 600 it starts near $10, around 700 near $40, around 800 near $100, and a top record starts at $150. Your exact figure is on your account.

Usage

How it moves

Your initial limit is based on your public track record. Successful repayments can increase it toward your account ceiling, capped at $5,000. Inactive periods reduce it gradually; failed repayments reduce it more quickly. Your dashboard shows your current limit.

Cadence

When it is recalculated

The GitHub score refreshes at most once a day, and immediately when the scoring model changes. The limit itself moves per settlement event, not on a schedule.

Card

A card backs the line

The welcome credit needs no card to start. The credit line does: the card settles what your agents draw from it, so it has to be on file before they can spend it.

Weekly

When the card is charged

Vaaya charges what your agents have drawn at the end of each week, or immediately once the amount passes $50.

New

Brand-new accounts

An account with no merged external pull request usually starts at $0 and earns its way up through settled use.

What you pay for a call

The catalog price is the final price. Nothing is added after a call runs.

Where Vaaya holds the account

Most of the catalog. Vaaya pays the provider on its own account and quotes you one price, at or close to the provider's own rate. You are never billed the provider's invoice separately.

On the pass-through rails

x402 and MPP settle per request against the merchant directly. You pay what the merchant asks for, nothing on top. The listed price is the ceiling your call cannot exceed.

No platform fee, no per-seat charge, no monthly minimum. If that ever changes, it shows up in the catalog price you are quoted before a call, which is the only number that reaches your ledger.

How the money reaches the provider

You see one Vaaya price and one ledger entry. Vaaya picks the settlement rail behind the scenes. Your agent never holds a card or a vendor key: it asks Vaaya, Vaaya pays the provider, and you get one line in your history with the price and the result.

x402

A payment per request

The service answers an unpaid request with a price. Vaaya pays it inline, in USDC on Base, and the request goes through. Nothing is pre-purchased; the amount settled is the amount the merchant asked for.

mpp

A token per purchase

Stripe's Machine Payments Protocol works the same way with a card behind it: Vaaya uses a payment token scoped to that one purchase, and the merchant charges against it. Separately approved purchases with your saved billing card require your consent and approval for each purchase.

metered

Usage-based accounts

Many providers sell a normal account billed by the second or by the unit. Vaaya holds that account, tracks what your calls consume, and prices each one for you.

card

Vendors that only sell subscriptions

Some services have no per-call product. Vaaya subscribes with its own card and exposes the service to your agent per call, so you are not buying a seat to make one request.

Start with welcome credit.

Sign up and your agent can spend right away. Add a pack or connect GitHub when you need more. You pay only for calls that succeed.
